I am a little behind posting. In June my family had

our yearly camping trip. Thew hole family was able to make it.

Check out Mad's post she has lots of cute pics.

This was the weekend we found out we were having a boy.

He is due November 18.

Fun in Colorado

For the past month and a half we have been living in Ridgway, CO

Brody is working about 40 min away, just out of Telluride.

We will be here until September, we love it here.

We are on the gondola, taking us up the mountain in Telluride.

Just out of Montrose, CO is the Black Canyon National Park.

It is a beautiful canyon that is deep and rugged, with amazing views.

It is go green and beautiful.

It was raining.

The canyon was formed by the river.

Ridgway is 7000 feet in elevation, we basically live in the mountains.

We see so much wildlife.

Brody took this picture on his way home from work.

This herd of Elk is all bulls, there is about 15 head.

There is a lot of big deer.

This deer was about a mile down the road.

We spotted this Cub on our Sunday morning drive.

We never could see it’s mom.

If any one watched the Oprah with Ralph Lauren,

these last two bears were on his ranch.

Brody also spotted these two bears on his way home from work.

Brody has seen five bears, I have only seen the one cub.

What's been going on

A lot has been going on with me and Brody.

Here is the quick catch-up

Brody's Grandma Hanson passed away in March and

about two weeks later my Grandma Zimmerman also passed away.

They were both beautiful funerals. We will miss them very much.

Brody looks so handsome in a suit.

We stayed in Logan for the months of February and

March, Brody had a big job up there.

We went to Hardware Ranch, it is a big elk refuge.

It was a lot of fun, I would recommend if you had never been.

I loved Logan, it is so beautiful up there.

I did not like traffic on the main road, it gets busy.

On the left is my nephew Dax born in January

and the right my nephew Rekker born in October.

Cancun

Brody and I had such a great time in Cancun.

Neither one of us had ever been to Mexico, I was kind of nervous.

I have watched many “Locked Up Abroad” shows so I knew what

I had to do not to get myself in trouble. =)

We had so much fun fishing.

I was sick the majority of time but still tried to have fun.

This was one of Brody’s big fish he caught, this is an Amberjack.

The ocean and beaches were beautiful.

This was a path that would lead you down to the ocean,

we loved walking down it. Our resort was everything we could have

hoped for and more, we loved it.

Brody of course beat me at miniature golf,

I think the only “sport” he can’t beat me at is foosball.

This was one night at dinner.

The service and food was always delicious.

Say goodbye to Brody’s mustache...it is gone, I am glad.

The only thing we wish is that we would have stayed there longer.

We had a fun successful cow elk hunt this year.

It was very beautiful and so cold.

BJ had great driving skills but we still

had to put on the chains.

We were definitely the trail blazers.

Laramie WY

We lived in Laramie August and September while

Brody was working there.

Medicine Bow National Forest is so beautiful.

We had so much fun in Laramie, there was

always something new to see and do.

I loved this sign. ha ha

For the University's homecoming week Ron White

came. Yes we were surprised that Ron White came

to little Laramie WY. Tickets were so cheep and

the seats were all good. He is so funny.

We went to the Boise State vs. Wyoming game

I was kind of sad because Boise walked all over Wyo.

Score 51-6

The weather was great. We had such a fun time.

The Wyoming Territorial Prison opened in 1873

The prison has been restored to its original

state and it looks great.

The prison reminded me of Alcatraz.

Anniversary Weekend...2+ months ago

It has been way too long sinse I have last

posted, so I will try and catch up.

For our Anniversary we went to Johnson Mill in Midway.

Thanks to Sabrina, she suggested it to me.

We had such a good time.

It is a bed and breakfast and it was so beautiful.

I loved the rugged looking signs they had for the guests.

The pond and grounds surrounding the Mill

were so peaceful.

I had my eye liner tattooed on

the day before this pic was taken.

We stopped by the gas station to get some treats to

eat with the movie we rented and the cashier asked

me if I had glitter on my eyes. LOL I told her I

got a tattoo and had to keep vaseline on my eyes.

It was best to take pics with my glasses on.

We visited the Wasatch County Memorial Hill.

It was up on a big hill and had a beautiful view.

I am not the best speller, in the pic below isn't

'Wastch' spelled wrong? I thought it was Wasatch.

Happy 5 year Anniversary

Today Brody and I are celebrating our 5 year

anniversary. I don's want to sound stupid but it

has been the best 5 years of my life.

p.s. I am also getting my eye liner tattooed

on in about an hour, I am exited and nerves.

4th of July Weekend

The 4th of July weekend we went done to the Monroe Mt.

Brody's friend Jeremy drew a Bull Elk tag on the Monroe.

We went down to go scouting.

We had such a fun time the weather was so nice.

It was a blast riding four wheelers and fishing.

Memorial Weekend

It is never good when our weekend starts like this.

We had 27 of our family and friends join us for Memorial Weekend

down on Boulder for some camping.

We had such a good time, we were glad the wind finally stopped

blowing Saturday, other that the wind the trip was so much fun.

My fabulous husband got a Turkey.

I am going to pluck it and we will save it for Thanksgiving.

Saturday we all dutch oven together and had some

of the best food.

We had a blast shooting clay pigeons.

Brody is really good and I am not to bad myself.

Brody helped Laila catch her first fish on Posey Lake.

Chad got all geared up in his fly fishing attire.

No he did not catch one but Laila caught three.

Family Four Wheeler Trip

Me and Brody

A couple of weeks ago my family went on our

second annual four wheeler trip. We go to a

different place every year. This year we went

down to the Dirty Devil. Jess harvested her

Desert Big Horn Sheep down there last year.

Zac and his family could not make it and

neither could Whit, we missed them.

The wind was blowing so bad so I put a bandana

on, so my hair would not blow in my face. Mad said

"are you trying to copy Bret Michaels".

Besides a little wind the weather turned out

really nice.

This cliff was so scary. Brody would stand

to close to the edge and freak me out.

We were in the middle of the desert.

We were a long ways from a tree to cut down,

so Brody and I took wood down. Camping

is not camping without a fire.

We had a lot of fun shooting guns. We had

so much fun the night before we left, my dad

forgot and left his metal target there. Someone

will enjoy it when they find it.

We played some horse shoes. I and not very

good but Brody and Rusty kick butt.

We had so much fun on the trip, I am looking

forward to the next trip with my family.

We had such a good time out west shooting on

Sunday. It was just Brody, Rusty, Jess, and me.

This is the new camera we got for christmas. This

is the first time I had used it and I love it. Brody

On Saturday CJ, Mad, Brody and I went to Tucanos.

When ever I change the red-eye on my

My hubby is such a hard worker. I don't know much

about power lines but, this looks like a lot of work.

This was in Price Canyon. They had to hike up

and fix the poles on the mountain behind them.

Cabin

My parents have a cabin near by, Brody and I

went up there last weekend. We had so much

fun. There was so much snow.

It was so pretty. It snowed lightly all night

long, about 3 inches.

There was so much snow on the roads Brody

had to put on the chains. We are glad we put

the chains on we had to pull a guy out that was

in a 2 wheel drive car.

The roads are not plowed all of the way to the cabin,

we have to walk in about 150 yards to get there.

The snow was about crotch deep walking in.

The next morning Brody shoveled the snow for me,

then it only calf deep. He is such a good husband.

Homestead

Last weekend Brody and I went up to Midway

and stayed at the Homestead. We were the only

couple eating at their restaurant on Thursday night.

It was so romantic, we were able to sit by the fire.

This is the cute little cottage we stayed.

The rooms were decorated like you were in

a old cottage, they were very clean.

This was a big ice mountain. It was a very

pretty blue.

Deer Hunt

The Deer Hunt started out in Oct with such

nice weather, then turned to snow.

We all stayed up in the bad weather. It

snowed and rained so much the last night.

I do love snow.

The first half of the weekend the weather was so nice.

Brody's cousin Zack was able to get a really

nice four point deer. We had a lot of fun!

Brody and I had tons of fun going to Rocky Mountain

National Park the other day. Our friends Tyson and JC

went with us. At the top was only 58 degrees and the

wind made it feel even colder. We saw two big buck

and a couple of big herds cow elk.

Memorial Weekend

It was alot of fun, even with all of the rain.

P.S. After the fun trip I was unloading the trailor on

My whole family when down to the San Rafael Swell,

We went on a 70 mile fourwheeler ride, most of

the ride it was raining. We had alot of fun.

There was 10 fights in all. It was one of the coolest
things I have ever seen.

Cow Elk Hunt

Brody and I both drew out for a cow elk tag.

We had a lot of fun but did not get one yet.

The hunt does not end until dec.

The keys got locked in Brodys dads truck.

It really did not take very long to get in the back

window. The glass did brake, the only thing

holding the window together was the tint.

This is Brody and his cousin Zack. It was Zacks

birthday he turned 17.

oh ya somthing always has to go wrong with

my husband, a flat tire. This sucked it was during

the morning hunt. The worst part is, one new tire

and alignment was 483 dollars. What a joke!

Wyoming Elk Hunt

Brody had a bull elk hunt in Wy. So we left
on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago when it
snowed so bad. I was of course scared we
were going to slid off the road. It was nice
once we found our camping spot.
Now that we have a nice-warm trailor,
camping to me is nothing like camping when
I was younger and had to stay in a tent.
Tent camping is fun to.

Befor the hunt opened we saw a way nice six
point. On Opening morning Brody passed up
some nice bulls, none of them were what he
wanted, yet! They saw more elk that they
passed up and others that they wanted but
could not get to. That is Hunting for you,
we came home empty handed. But had a
way funnnn camping trip.

The snow covered mountains were
so pretty .

This is one of the many bull moose we
saw. They are awesome and way dark
next to the white snow. We also saw a
lot of realy nice deer.

Wyoming part two

The last part of the week in wyoming
was pretty nice. The days were warm
and the nights were cold.

On Sat we had some friends come over.
Brody wanted to jump our tramp, it was midnight.

Brody and Rusty started jumping off the tree on to the Tramp.
Everytime I look at this pic it makes me LOL.

It was not bad that we were jumping on the tramp so late,
until the girls go on all of them were screaming.
It is hard to stay on your feet when there
is about seven girls jumping at once.

Wyoming Antelope

Brody shot a Antelope in Wyoming last Sat. Just the two of us
went. It was fun and short. He shot it a 7:45 am. It is Sep
and there is a lot more hunting season to follow stay tune.

We drove by Flaming Gorge it was so pretty.

Fun at the Fair

So this last week end my whole family went to the State Fair.
We have always gone together every year as a family.
There is a lot of WT people there but it is still fun.

Labor Day Weekend

OK so I will tell you the short story. We left to go camping sat. morning. We were still driving to our camping spot with the truck and trailor on, when Brody spoted the two point. He got out and shot the deer with his bow. I was so exited because I was there to see him shot it. It was a 22 yard shot and it only ran about 12 yards.

This last weekend we went to Las Vagas. We had so much fun..

We stayed out at Lake Las Vagas in the Ritz-Carlton.

I only lost 40 dollars. Brody's money is a diffrent story.
